HOW TO MAKE A HYDRATING MASK AT HOME

OAT, HONEY AND MILK MASK- This is one of my go to masks because I really struggle with dry, and I mean very dry skin especially in winter. I recommend this mask because it is affordable and contains only natural products and of course I HAVE SEEN RESULTS. Now for the mask itself you'll need honey, raw oatmeal and milk ( these are products we all have at home so it should be very easy to gather your ingredients).

METHOD

  1. Pour about 2 spoons of raw oatmeal in a bowl
  2. In the same bowl, pour just enough milk to make the oatmeal wet (about 3 1/2 spoons of milk)
  3. Add a teaspoon of honey to the mixture
  4. With a spoon, mix the ingredients into a sticky paste
Apply mask on your face and neck by rubbing it onto the skin, leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. Tone and moisturize as usual.

This mask is great for dry skin, acne and even for eczema, besides hydrating your skin it has many other benefits too,

OATMEAL contains saponins which are anti-oxidants and are anti-inflammatory and are known to remove dirt from the pores

MILK has skin lightening agents and is also known to be a good moisturizer as it contains fats and vitamins

HONEY is naturally soothing and is also notorious for it's antibacterial properties

I could go on!! Apply this mask at least 3 times a week for best results
